Very Happy New Year 2023 .. hope it’d be success plentiful to all.
As some of you already know, the scientific journal of the University of Saida, the JSBB* (ISSN:2830-8832), is live online accessible via the url link: [ https://bioinformatics.univ-saida.dz/jsbb | https://bioinformatics.univ-saida.dz/jsbb ] . JSBB is still in its infancy and requires the contribution of all to continue its mission of serving our students and researchers.
* JSBB:
The journal Concepts in Structural Biology & Bioinformatics – JSBB , publishes two types of articles; Concept articles (targets postgrad students) and Peer-reviewed articles in current edge fields of science relevant to Bioinformatics, Structural Biology, Genomics, Proteomics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nutrition & Health and Biology in general.
The content nature of the journal is of short to moderately long articles written in simple English and/or Bilingual (English/Arabic).
See the links: [ https://bioinformatics.univ-saida.dz/jsbb/about.php | https://bioinformatics.univ-saida.dz/jsbb/about.php ]In relation to Peer-reviewed articles , this new year 2023 has been marked by publishing the second paper , appeared 03 rd January 2023 :
1. Floristic and ecological diagnostic of the Mounts of Saida in the context of ecological restoration: Assessment of six years of field research (2017-2022). by: Aouadj Sid Ahmed , Nasrallah Yahia , Hasnaoui Okkacha , Khatir Hadj

Thus, in the light of the above introduction, I’d like to invite you all for considering to publish some of your academic/teaching work (concepts context) and/or research endeavors in the JSBB journal.
Please send your articles to jsbb@univ-saida.dz See the directions under [ https://bioinformatics.univ-saida.dz/jsbb/Submit.php | SUBMIT ARTICLES ] via the JSBB’s url link: [ https://bioinformatics.univ-saida.dz/jsbb/Submit.php | https://bioinformatics.univ-saida.dz/jsbb/Submit.php ]I take this opportunity to thank very much the colleagues who so far have contributed with articles and continue to support JSBB (they know themselves).
I thank also very much Prof. K. Boudraa (CRI manager) for setting up the e-mail accounts for the bioinformatics-server ( bioinformatics@univ-saida.dz ) and for the jsbb ( [ https://www.mailo.com/mailo/mail/jsbb@univ-saida.dz | jsbb@univ-saida.dz ] )
Lot of thanks is extended to the Head and D eputy of the Department of Biology for their hard work in the running of the department and support of the JSBB and the posts on the official facebook page of the department.
I can’t miss thanking very much Prof. A. Berroukche (Dean of the Faculty of Sciences) for his support and the ordering the setting up of an office for the Bioinformatics-server and the JSBB journal.
The office room is found 1st floor (in the biology department’s teaching corridors). All colleagues are welcomed to come and talk and discuss matters related to the JSBB and the Bioinformatics-server. Kind regards, Abdelkrim
