Science Daily RoadTrip
Science Daily is launching a campaign to promote science through what constitutes the home of knowledge, namely the country's universities.
After establishing its YouTube channel to distil knowledge and promote science through audiovisual programmes accessible to all audiences, Science Daily aims to reach the hearts of tomorrow's elite - the students eager to know part of the essence of their generation. Youth is the stage of life when dreams, hope and will are at their peak.
Beyond the theoretical and practical knowledge they receive in their universities, these students need a boost to open their appetite for conquests, knowledge and achievements. This necessary boost, so they can assert themselves in their scientific identities, is the same one the people need to liberate themselves: knowing their history, knowing what the priorities of the present and the imperatives of the future are.
Through this approach, Science Daily wishes to engage in a series of conferences to be held within the universities themselves. Multifaceted, open and interactive conferences to define concepts, discuss science, identify its origins, standards and purposes, contextualise concepts and explain issues.
These conferences will focus primarily on the philosophy of science, its spirit, its vocations and its achievements.
The programme presentations will open each conference. Professor Hafid Aourag will follow with a paper reaching the core of the matter before the discussion is opened to all.
After the video screening, a riddle will be presented to the audience. After discussions, a draw will be held to give students a chance to answer. An important gift related to the topic will be offered to the winner (also depending on the sponsor).
