University charter

The charter defines the reciprocal commitments between the university and members of its community (students, faculty and staff), in line with framework law no. 99-05 on higher education.

Core principles

• Academic freedom: independence of research and freedom to publish.
• Academic integrity: a ban on plagiarism and exam fraud.
• Equal access: no discrimination based on gender, disability or social background.
• Mutual respect: rejection of all forms of violence and harassment.
• Stewardship of shared resources: care for equipment and shared spaces.

Commitments by group

Students: regular attendance, examination honesty, respect toward faculty and peers, no disruption of classes.

Faculty: lecture preparation, fair and transparent grading, observance of schedules, engagement in research.

Staff: impartial service, professional confidentiality, courteous treatment of visitors.

Disciplinary procedures

Sanctions are governed by executive decree no. 10-81 on the disciplinary regime. The disciplinary council is the competent body.
