The University of Saida today has eight faculties, more than 12,000 students, and active laboratories in exact sciences, economics and the humanities. The leadership team focuses on raising teaching quality, broadening international cooperation and supporting graduate employment. Three programmes are currently under way: modernising the academic curriculum, strengthening administrative governance, and opening new cooperation channels with universities in France, Sweden, Turkey and Canada. Students, faculty and staff take part in the follow-up of these programmes.
The university firmly believes that higher education is a decisive lever for national development, and that our responsibility goes beyond knowledge transfer: we aim to train critical citizens committed to serving society. This is the direction of our daily work, supported by the faculty, staff and partners who make this institution a place of discovery and creation.
Welcome to the University Dr Moulay Tahar of Saida, your house of learning.
