Public higher-education institution in the wilaya of Saida, founded in 1986 and comprising eight faculties.

The university develops its academic programmes, supports its research laboratories and extends its cooperation agreements with Maghreb and European universities. It also invests in the digitalisation of academic and administrative services and in the modernisation of governance.
