For announcement and distribution to all interested applicants, I have the honor to inform you that the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) has announced the opening of the call for nominations for the ESCWA Arab Digital Content Award for Sustainable Development 2025-2026, in accordance with the document attached to this email.
The purpose of this award is to distinguish outstanding digital projects that support digital content, and to develop high-quality digital content aligned with the sustainable development goals in the Arab region.
Participation in this event will be open to public, private, academic or non-governmental institutions, as well as young entrepreneurs from Arab countries who have developed applications or products in Arabic digital content, and left
a clear impact on society. Entrepreneurs who are founders of startups, youth teams, or individuals must be under the age of 35. The selection of winning projects is based on the following criteria: local impact, value, content, functionality, design, technology, and innovation.
The winners of this award will be announced during the 2026 Arab Summit for Small and Medium Enterprises.
