ESCWA opens the call for applications for its Digital Arabic Content Award for Sustainable Development 2025-2026. Submissions due before 25 February 2026.
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) announces the opening of the call for applications for the ESCWA Digital Arabic Content Award for Sustainable Development 2025-2026. The award recognises outstanding digital projects that support and develop high-quality Arabic digital content aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals in the Arab region. Participation is open to public, private, academic and non-governmental institutions, as well as young entrepreneurs from Arab countries who have developed applications or products with a demonstrated societal impact. Entrepreneurs, startup founders, youth teams or individuals must be under 35 years of age. Selection criteria: local impact, value, content, functionality, design, technology and innovation. Winners will be announced at the 2026 Arab SME Summit.
