About the symposium
The Financial Studies Laboratory of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Saida Dr Moulay Tahar is organising a national hybrid symposium (in person and online) on "Social media and Algerian economic institutions", on 10 October 2026, in tribute to Professor Belhadi Abdelkader. The symposium aims to enrich scientific research on social-media management and to propose practical models and recommendations helping institutions survive and grow in a fast-moving digital environment.
Problem statement
Amid accelerating digital transformation, social media has become a strategic pillar organisations rely on to strengthen their market presence and build lasting relationships with customers and partners. The symposium seeks to answer the following question: how do social networks help improve economic performance and strengthen the competitiveness of Algerian economic institutions, and what obstacles limit the optimal use of these digital media?

Participation conditions
Papers must be original and unpublished and fall within the symposium themes. Accepted languages are Arabic, French and English; a 250 to 300 word abstract is required. Papers should be 10 to 15 pages, using APA or Harvard citation style.
Note: the ten best papers will be published in a nationally classified category "C" journal.
