Registration in the Doctorate – Sciences

• Registration forms for the Doctorate – Sciences are available on the university's official website.
• Forms must be completed and printed by computer (handwritten forms are not accepted).
• The registration file is submitted directly to the post-graduation service of the department.
• The original Magistère diploma must be submitted at the department's post-graduation service at the first registration in the Doctorate – Sciences.
• Registration files are reviewed and validated by the faculty's scientific bodies in the following order: Departmental Scientific Committee, then Faculty Scientific Council.

Re-registration file

Re-registration in the Doctorate – Sciences

• Re-registration forms are available on the university's official website.
• Forms must be completed and printed by computer (no handwritten forms).
• The re-registration file is submitted directly to the department's post-graduation service.
• Files follow the same review circuit: Departmental Scientific Committee, then Faculty Scientific Council.

Doctorate in Sciences thesis defence file

• The defence request file may be submitted provided the candidate holds four consecutive registrations.
• The file is introduced by the thesis director at the department's post-graduation and research service for administrative review.
• The doctoral candidate's name must appear first in the author list of all scientific publications (articles and communications), except for journals in fields using alphabetical ordering of authors. In that case, the department's post-graduation service must be consulted.
• Publications must list the thesis director among the authors, unless the latter expressly waives this right by written authorisation; the authorisation must be inserted in the defence file.
• Articles must mention the research laboratory and the registering institution.
• Articles published in predatory journals or by predatory publishers are not accepted.
• Ranked articles must have been submitted for review at the earliest after the second registration.
• The defence file transmitted to the jury members includes a paper and a digital copy (CD), containing the thesis and at least one ranked article validated by the faculty scientific council.

Institutional circuit

• Departmental Scientific Committee (CSD): review of files and academic proposals.
• Faculty Scientific Council (CSF): final validation of registration and defence.
• Departmental post-graduation and research service: administrative follow-up and guidance throughout the training.
