Lecturer and researcher in computer science
Dr Hanane Menad is a lecturer and researcher in computer science at the University of Saida Dr Moulay Tahar, within the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Telecommunications. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, data mining, machine learning and metaheuristics (bio-inspired methods). She is particularly interested in applying convolutional neural networks and optimization algorithms (grey wolf optimizer, simulated annealing, artificial social bees) to image classification and to the analysis of medical and environmental data.
