Professor Reda Mohamed Hamou is a professor of computer science at the University of Saida Dr Moulay Tahar and head of a research team at the GeCoDe laboratory. His research covers data mining, text mining, classification, clustering, computational intelligence, neural networks, evolutionary computation and biomimetic optimization methods. He has numerous works on bio-inspired algorithms and metaheuristics, with applications in intrusion detection, text classification and plagiarism detection.
