One of the missions of the Office of Student Welfare is to ensure student travel between university residences and teaching sites (urban transport), together with suburban transport for students who meet the housing conditions but cannot be accommodated in residence and must therefore be brought from their homes to the teaching campuses.
The service is run by the Regional Offices of Student Welfare through transport plans drawn up in coordination with the relevant departments and sized according to the number of annual travel passes issued to students. Transport companies and the National Railway Company deliver the service under agreements signed with the Office, in accordance with the public procurement code.
